Join our team as a Production Coordinator at our rapidly growing sheet metal facility in Mentor! Work on 1st shift, Monday-Friday from 7am-3:30pm. Pay based on experience. ๐Ÿ’ผ๐Ÿ’ฐ

Responsibilities:
Coordinate Production Jobs: Work closely with production management to schedule and prioritize production jobs according to deadlines and resource availability.

Facilitate Workflow: Ensure that all necessary materials, equipment, and resources are available and allocated for each production job, communicating effectively with relevant departments to prevent delays.

Monitor Progress: Regularly monitor the progress of production jobs on the floor, addressing any issues or bottlenecks that may arise to ensure timely completion.

Quality Assurance: Collaborate with quality control personnel to maintain high standards of quality throughout the production process, conducting regular checks and inspections as needed.

Inventory Management: Assist in managing inventory levels by monitoring stock levels, placing orders for materials and supplies, and maintaining accurate records of inventory transactions.

Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of production activities, including job orders, inventory levels, and production reports. Prepare and distribute reports to relevant stakeholders as needed.

Office Support: Provide administrative support to the production team, including answering phones, responding to emails, and organizing paperwork as necessary.

Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the production workflow, making recommendations to management for implementation.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in a coordination or scheduling role.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant software applications.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- Knowledge of inventory management principles and practices is a plus.
