Mancan Temporary Employment Staffing Agency in Norwalk is seeking Maintenance Tech for our client in Bellevue, Ohio.
This position requires the ability to perform these essential duties:
• Perform equipment maintenance on various types of mechanical equipment, including belt conveyors, bucket elevators, drag chains, grain cleaners, screw conveyors, etc.
• Perform and demonstrate the ability to complete work using safe work practices
• Plant and preventive maintenance experience
• Ability to perform belt splicing and maintenance for conveyors and bucket elevator conveyer
• Primary duties are to perform a wide variety of general maintenance duties throughout the facility, assisting in the repair, installation, adjustment, and maintenance of production and processing machinery as well as the facility. Duties may involve pipe fitting, hydraulics, pneumatics, repairing mechanical, electromechanical, or electrical equipment.
• Demonstrate and use basic level of skills involving electrical wiring, electric motors, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Repair and/or replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment, as directed.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance or repair of machinery
• Assist in the diagnosis of malfunctioning apparatus in machine controls, including relays, timers, power supplies and motor control circuits.
• Assist in the repair/replacement of faulty electrical components of machinery such as relays, timers, PLCs and components, touch pad controllers, power supplies, motors, motor starters, motor drives, switches, position sensing devices.
• Inspect drives, motors, and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, clean, lubricate and adjust equipment, shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
• Assemble, install and/or repair machinery, and equipment, wiring, electrical and electronic components, as directed.
• Analyze test results, machine error messages, checking blueprints and manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary.
• Record maintenance and repair work performed according to system requirements. After repair or reassembly, operate machinery or equipment to verify the adequacy of repairs.
• Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches and electrical testing devices.
• Completes maintenance activities in an efficient and safe manner, while supporting production needs
• Provides technical consultation for mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulics, PLC’s, electrical, heat, chemical, schematic and blueprint, safety, and electronics at the location
• Understands and enforces work standards, policies, procedures, and safety regulations
1st shift, expect overtime. Pay is based on experience.
