Canton Mancan Temporary Staffing Employment Agency is seeking an experienced forklift operator to work for a reputable company in Canton Ohio. As a forklift operator, you will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, load, and unload materials within a warehouse setting. Your primary objective will be to ensure the safe and efficient transportation of goods and materials. Candidates will be unloading trucks, putting product into inventory, breaking down pallets, checking by PO order and able to lift up to 65LBS.
Key Responsibilities:
-Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, and transport materials and products.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on the forklift to ensure its proper functioning.
-Follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times to prevent accidents or damage to goods.
-Load and unload trucks. Stacking and organizing products or materials as per instructions.
-Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and completed tasks.
-Collaborate with warehouse team members and supervisors to prioritize and fulfill orders efficiently.
-Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to attendance, punctuality, and adherence to scheduled shifts.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a forklift operator is essential. We are currently looking for employees who have experience driving propane sit down tanks and forklifts.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
-Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
-General math skills are a MUST!
-Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
-Ability to work overtime as needed.
-Strong attendance and punctuality is a MUST.
-RF scanner experience helpful in this position.
- Candidates Must have a valid driver's license and own car to move back and forth to various offsite warehouse locations in the Canton area.
Benefits:
Competitive hourly rate of $14.00/hr.

Hours are Monday- Friday 6am-2:30pm with the possibility you will be needed to work over as on various days.
Candidates can expect to work 40 hours per week plus over time as needed.
Candidates MUST have their own transportation as they may be needed to help unload at an offsite warehouse and will need to be able to get to and from on their own.
