This is a full-time temp to hire position. Hours are Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm. Pay is based on experience. Pay will range from $13-$16/hr.
Job Title: Construction Laborer
Job Description:
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Construction Laborers to join our team. As a Construction Laborer, you will be responsible for performing various tasks to support construction projects. This includes heavy lifting, operating hand tools, digging, pouring concrete, drywall installation, painting, and other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate should possess a valid driver's license, be capable of lifting heavy objects, have regular work boots, and demonstrate reliability and dependability.
Responsibilities:
Assist with heavy lifting and carrying of construction materials and equipment.
Operate hand tools and power tools as instructed by the supervisor.
Perform digging and excavation work for foundations, trenches, or utilities.
Assist with pouring and leveling concrete for foundations, slabs, or sidewalks.
Assist with drywall installation, taping, and finishing.
Support painting activities by preparing surfaces, applying primer, and painting as directed.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
Job Requirements:
Possess a valid driver's license to commute to job sites as required.
Capable of lifting heavy objects and performing physically demanding tasks.
Must have regular work boots for safety and protection.
Reliable and dependable, with a strong work ethic.
Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively as part of a team.
Basic knowledge of construction tools, equipment, and techniques is preferred but not required.
Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks.
