Job Title: Construction Lead Installer
Overview:
The Construction Lead Installer plays a vital role in overseeing and executing various construction projects. This position requires expertise in multiple areas including carpentry, plumbing, framing, flooring, painting, drywall, and tiling. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical proficiency, and a keen attention to detail to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to high standards.
Pay will be based on experience. Ranging from $20-$25.
Hours: Monday-Friday 7am to 3:30pm
Responsibilities:
1. Lead and coordinate construction projects from start to finish.
2. Supervise and guide team members in various construction tasks.
3. Perform carpentry work including framing, installing doors, windows, and trim.
4. Conduct plumbing installations and repairs as needed.
5. Lay flooring materials such as hardwood, tile, laminate, or vinyl.
6. Apply paint and finishes to surfaces including walls, ceilings, and trim.
7. Install and finish drywall, including taping, mudding, and sanding.
8. Tile installation for floors, walls, and other surfaces.
9. Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
10. Maintain tools, equipment, and materials inventory.
11. Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
12. Problem-solve and troubleshoot issues as they arise during construction.
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience in carpentry, plumbing, framing, flooring, painting, drywall, and tiling.
2. Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team.
3. Proficient in reading blueprints and construction plans.
4. Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
6. Detail-oriented with a focus on quality craftsmanship.
7. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
8. Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual labor and operate tools and equipment.
9. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
10. High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or vocational training is a plus.
