Quality Control Inspector

Mancan Staffing is seeking a Quality Control Laboratory Technician to join our team in New Eagle. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety, accuracy, and timeliness of testing and reporting processes for production, management, and customers as required. This role involves working with mechanical equipment, laboratory testing devices, and other measurement tools to provide analysis of manufactured goods and raw materials. The Laboratory Technician will operate under the direct supervision of the Quality Manager.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality control testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished product samples.
- Analyze and report on whether samples conform to specifications.
- Utilize Microsoft Office programs to generate and maintain accurate records.
- Produce and make available Certificates of Analysis (CoA) as required.
- Audit other quality requirements of production and coordinate with production to ensure products meet standards.
Position Demands:
Knowledge:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of accounting or record-keeping principles.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
- Familiarity with dry/wet sieve analysis, density, and batch mixing is desired.
- Knowledge of general laboratory practices (GLP), manufacturing processes, contracting, forklift operation, or related experiences are beneficial.

- Continuous standing, walking, and bending.
- Occasional climbing, kneeling, crouching, and reaching.
- Exposure to a physical environment including dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes, airborne dust particles, vibrations, and moving mechanical parts.
General:
- Willingness to occasionally perform any required work as assigned by the department, plant, or general manager.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
