Job description and Responsibilities:
Cashier
Responsible for processing and receiving payments and issuing receipts to customers as they leave with purchases.
• Provide a positive customer experience, friendly and courteous service.
• Ringing up sales, bagging items, requesting price checks, collecting payment.
• Processes return transactions.
• Alteration tickets.
• Sharing in floor coverage when needed.
Job qualifications and requirements
• High School Diploma
• Two Years of College
• Some Retail experiences
• Computer skills
• Team player
• Courteous to the public
• Welcomes training, for advancement.
• Wants to grow within our company.
• Someone who will be a positive addition to our organization.
Candidate should be pleasant to the public, and present themselves, in a friendly manner to the customers.
We have a dress code, of white tops and black pants or skirts. All black is acceptable.
Our hours of business, in season:
10:00 AM to 5:00 PM November thru April and Sundays 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Candidate will not be expected to work Sunday, but help on one or two Saturdays will be appreciated.
Our Hours of Business out of season:
10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday thru Saturdays. We are not open Sundays
** September Hours: 12:00 to 4:00, Monday thru Saturdays
I am looking for someone who can work 5 days a week in season, for 4 to 5 hours a day.
Out of Season 4 days or more if I am traveling. The candidate will not be alone in the shop. I will, be in the shop, or a sales person.
