General Laborer

Mancan is working with a local Millersburg company seeking a general laborer for 2nd shift. No prior manufacturing experience required but it is a plus! This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for the right candidate based upon attitude, performance, and attendance.
Pay will be $16.00/HR. Hours are Monday-Friday from 2 pm - 10 pm.
Key Responsibilities:
Cleaning Duties:
- Clean dryer equipment, mixers, and bucket conveyors to maintain a hygienic and efficient production environment.
Equipment Operation:
- Operate production equipment, including running a press, following safety protocols and quality standards.
Shutdown Procedures:
- Safely shut down dryers and other equipment at the end of the workday to prevent accidents and maintain equipment longevity.
Sanitization (CIP):
- Perform equipment sanitization procedures (Clean-in-Place) to ensure compliance with hygiene standards.
Physical Requirements:
- Lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Perform physical tasks such as bending, twisting, stooping, crawling, climbing stairs, and walking frequently.
Flexibility:
- Be willing to work overtime as required.
Working Conditions:
- Work in a hot and demanding environment, adhering to safety precautions and using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Adaptability:
- Be open to performing other duties as assigned by supervisors to support production goals.
Physical Requirements:
This position involves significant physical activity, including bending, twisting, stooping, crawling, climbing stairs, and lifting objects up to 50 lbs. Candidates should be physically fit and capable of performing these tasks regularly.
