Canton Mancan is assisting a local company in hiring a powder coater!
This position will train on day shift then move to 2nd shift.
Salary: $20.00 per hour
Shift: Training on 1st shift (7:00 am - 3:30 pm, Monday-Friday), transitioning to 2nd shift (3:00 pm - 1:30 am, Monday-Thursday) upon completion of training.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of prior experience in industrial painting/powder coating.
Successful completion of an interview process.
Responsibilities:
Paints or powder coats surfaces of manufactured metal products with wet paint or powder using a spray gun.
Sets up industrial washer for cleaning parts.
Loads parts onto the conveyor system.
Mixes coating, liquid to the desired color, or pours powder into the hopper.
Sets the baking oven to specified temperature to ensure proper baking of paint or powder.
Checks parts after baking to ensure correct paint thickness using a mil thickness gauge.
Removes parts from the conveyor and de-masks as required.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Mobility requirements include standing, walking, reaching, and bending.
