Join our Chardon manufacturing company as a Production Team Member! We prioritize your personal growth and development and are committed to supporting your professional aspirations. This is a 1st shift position, Monday through Friday, 7am to 3:30pm, with some overtime. The position offers long-term potential and a temp-to-hire opportunity. Pay starts out at $2150 and offers 3 weeks PTO (prorated based on DOH) and 12 paid holidays.
Summary of Position:
As a Production Team Member, you'll be responsible for safe and efficient operation of production equipment, including staging, processing, sampling, labeling, filtering, and filling products. Adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards is essential. You'll maintain production parameters, report issues promptly, and continuously look for process and equipment improvements.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 1-3 years experience in manufacturing and/or production preferred
- Experience in chemical manufacturing is a plus
- Ability to work with hazardous chemicals
- Willingness to work overtime (including weekends) when required
- Strong math skills and ability to read gauges and readouts
- Safety-conscious, productivity-driven, and quality-focused
- Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds, climbing stairs, kneeling, stooping, sitting, and extensive walking
- Comfortable wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Accurate and consistent in data entry with high attention to detail
- Self-motivated with excellent communication skills
- Willingness to learn new tools and systems
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet aggressive deadlines
- Effective team player who can work independently
- Committed to meeting or exceeding customer expectations
- Positive attitude in challenging situations
Temp to Hire: $21.50 an hour
