Massillon Mancan is partnering with a Massillon Auto Parts Facility to hire a Route Driver (Box Truck). As a Route Driver, you’ll be responsible for managing an established route, ensuring timely deliveries, and providing excellent customer service while being home nightly.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete daily delivery routes efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Confirm deliveries and ensure accurate delivery of parts according to manifests.
• Handle cash/COD payments and process credit card transactions.
• Manage and return any parts that need to be returned to the facility.
• Maintain a professional and positive demeanor with customers and staff.
• Ensure safe operation and upkeep of the vehicle.
• Report any delivery issues or discrepancies promptly.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience as a route driver preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and carry auto parts (up to 50+ lbs).
• Must be dependable, with strong attention to detail.
Schedule & Compensation:
• Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM (hours may vary).
• Pay: $16.00 per hour.
• Once hired full-time, there will be a pay increase.
