Job Title: Warehouse Packer
Job Summary:
The Warehouse Packer is responsible for accurately selecting, preparing, and securely packaging products for shipment. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to company packaging standards, and the ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace. The packer will work closely with the Product Specialist to ensure efficient and accurate order fulfillment while following all safety and quality guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Order Preparation & Packing:
Select the correct items from inventory based on order specifications.
Inspect items for quality and quantity accuracy before packaging.
Use appropriate packaging materials such as boxes, tape, spacers, fillers, and protective padding to ensure items are securely packed.
Label and document each package accurately to ensure correct tracking and delivery.
Warehouse Organization & Inventory
Management:
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse workspace.
Assist with organizing inventory for easy access and retrieval.
Monitor and track inventory levels to help maintain stock accuracy.
Participate in regular inventory counts and audits as needed.
Safety & Compliance:
Follow all safety guidelines, including proper lifting techniques and equipment usage.
Operate material handling equipment such as tow motors and pallet jacks after completing required training.
Adhere to ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) and HAZCOM (Hazard Communication) guidelines.
Participate in pedestrian awareness training to ensure safety around forklifts and other moving equipment.
Additional Duties:
Assist in packing assemblies and parts according to company procedures.
Operate banding and foam packing equipment as required.
Follow the company’s Code of Conduct and maintain professionalism in the workplace.

Educational Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Preferred Experience & Skills:
Previous experience in warehouse packing, order fulfillment, or inventory management is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with packaging techniques, scanning devices, and safety protocols is beneficial.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and material handling equipment.
