CNC Machine Operator – 1st Shift (Part-Time to Full-Time Opportunity)
Location: Chardon, OH
Shift: 1st Shift (Monday - Thursday, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM)
Overtime: Friday as needed
Pay Rate: $18 - $20 per hour (Based on Experience)
Job Type: Part-time (Potential to become full-time)
Job Summary:
A well-established company in Chardon is seeking CNC Machine Operators for a 1st shift, part-time role with the possibility of transitioning into a full-time position. The ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC machinery, inspecting parts, and maintaining accurate measurements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines according to specifications.
- Perform quality checks and inspect machined parts for accuracy and defects.
- Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Track and document dimensions and production data.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
Qualifications:
- Prior CNC machine operation experience preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be reliable with good attendance.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
