Northfield Mancan is assisting an Aurora Company who is looking for a PCB through hole Touch-up, Selective Solder Tech. This is a 1st shift position 8:30am-5pm and the starting pay will be $18 an hour. YOU MUST have previous touch-up/solder Through-hole components experience.
Responsibilities:
- Touch-up/solder Through-hole components and learn to touch-up SMT (Fine pitch, SOIC, etc.).
- Install complicated board modifications using a microscope.
- Follow work process instructions and specifications, both written and verbal.
- Perform visual inspection of PCB’s for IPC-A-610 workmanship requirements.
- Basic soldering and de-soldering with a hand held soldering equipment is necessary.
- Ability to track and request work supplies as needed.
- Participate in continuous improvement and maintain a productive working relationship.
- Performs other duties as assigned including moving of material as needed.
Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate MUST HAVE assembly experience and the ability to make piece parts on a repetitive basis.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to work in a fast paced changing environment.
- High School diploma.
- Two years of electronic manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to follow detailed technical instructions
