Maintenance Technician

Mancan Staffing, in partnership with a thriving business in the Cambridge area, is excited to offer an excellent opportunity for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician will apply various technologies to test and modify manufacturing machinery and equipment, ensuring quality, efficiency, and consistency in production processes.
💰 Rate of Pay: $20 per hour
⏰ Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (with overtime on Saturdays as needed)
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Ensure quality and consistency in production processes by assessing, modifying, and calibrating equipment.
- Evaluate and modify production processes and equipment to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with equipment, devices, or products; use precision instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to make necessary adjustments.
- Assist engineers with tasks related to the development, construction, and evaluation of prototypes, new products, operations, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate with engineering, technical support, sales, and management.
- Thorough understanding of products and equipment used in manufacturing.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma required.
- Electricial Knowledge.
- At least two years of related experience required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing in the factory and occasional periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Manual dexterity to evaluate, install, and modify equipment.
