Driller Operator

Mancan Staffing is looking for an Experienced Driller Operator in the Girard Area. This is a 1st shift position, Direct Hire. Pay is Based on experience, $16.00-$18.00HR. Rotating Monday-Friday 7am-3pm and 9am-5pm.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will set up and run multiple machines simultaneously. They will read and refer to blueprints for machine set-up and part specifications. They will inspect the quality and condition of parts and tooling. Successful candidates will also effectively troubleshoot problems, offer solutions and collaborate with Engineering and Management.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Proven basic math skills
Flexibility with shift scheduling and overtime
Ability to perform some heavy lifting
Knowledge of tools & machinery
Proven mechanical ability
Troubleshooting skills
Ability to use precision tools to take accurate measurements
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Knowledge of metal properties preferred
3-5 years of similar or related work experience preferred
Forklift/Tow motor experience preferred
Applicants with experience operating cold-forming equipment from National Machinery, Waterbury, and/or Asahi Sunac will be given top priority.
