🔧 Manual Grinder Operator – Full Time – Concord, OH 🔧
Chardon Mancan is teaming up with a high-tech facility in Concord to find a Manual Grinder Operator! 💼 This is a full-time, on-site opportunity for mechanically inclined individuals who take pride in precision work. Help manufacture top-tier synthetic diamond cutting tools that are used across industries! 💎
🕒 Schedule & Pay:
• 2nd shift Monday – Friday (Train on 1st) 📅 Hours are 3:30PM-12AM.
• Occasional weekends & OT 💪
• Pay $18-21hr based on experience with a $1 shift differential 💵
🔩 Job Duties:
• Set up and operate manual grinding machines 🛠️
• Review blueprints and production schedules 📄
• Load/unload synthetic diamond materials 🔄
• Grind materials to exact specifications 🎯
• Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers & optical comparators 🔍
• Make necessary adjustments for accuracy ⚙️
• Document production output and report issues 📝
• Keep machines clean and well-maintained 🧽
• Follow safety protocols and team up for quality results ✅
🎓 Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED 🎓
• Experience in grinding or precision machining a plus (we will train the right candidate!) ✨
• Mechanically and mathematically inclined 🔢
• Comfortable reading blueprints and using precision tools 📏
• Strong attention to detail 👀
• Able to lift up to 10 lbs and perform repetitive tasks 🔄
• Good communication and teamwork skills 🗣️🤝
• PPE required: Safety glasses 👓
🏭 Work Environment:
• Manufacturing setting with moderate noise levels 🔊
• Standing, walking, bending, and lifting required throughout the shift 🚶♂️
• Exposure to moving parts and airborne particles at times ⚠️
