📍 Location: Niles, OH
🕒 Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (or until 4:30 PM depending on orders)
📅 Occasional Saturday OT required
💵 Pay: $18–$23/hr (Based on Experience)
Are you detail-oriented with a knack for machinery and a drive for quality? We’re looking for a Powder Coating Operator to join our production team in Niles, OH! This is a great opportunity to grow within a company that values precision, safety, and a strong work ethic.
💼 What You’ll Be Doing:
Operate coating equipment including guns, hoppers, and booths to apply a smooth, even powder coat 🎨
Adjust settings for spray patterns, powder flow, and gun location using visual checks and film thickness meters
Inspect parts before and after coating to ensure proper quality and coverage
Maintain inventory of powder and supplies following FIFO (First In, First Out) practices 📦
Clean and maintain powder coating guns, booths, filters, and work areas 🧽
Monitor gauges and equipment to detect any defects or irregularities
Follow all safety regulations and report any unsafe conditions 🚧
Wear PPE at all times 🦺
Take initiative to support other production tasks as needed
✅ What We’re Looking For:
High school diploma or GED required
1–2 years of powder coating or relevant manufacturing experience preferred
Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills 🔧
Strong attention to detail and quality control
Ability to work consistently and handle physical demands (lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, bending, reaching)
Comfortable working in non-climate-controlled areas with exposure to dust and temperature changes
Dependable, team-oriented, and open to working overtime when needed
