Parkersburg Mancan has an immediate need for a press brake operator for a great local Parkersburg manufacturing company. Full time positions available starting as soon as this week.
Hours are Mon-Fri from 7-330 Overtime is required during seasonal peaks or as required.
Pay is based on experience $18.00- $22.00 / hour
DUTIES
OPERATE CNC PRESS BRAKE
OPERATE CNC SHEAR
MEASURE RAW MATERIAL IN PREPARATION FOR CUTTING AND / OR BENDING
ORGANIZE SHEET & PLATE MATERIALS & SEGREGATE
KEEP AREA CLEAN & ORGANIZED
SEPARATE SCRAP MATERIAL AND PLACE IN PROPER BINS
ASSIST WITH STOCKING PARTS & ISSUANCE TO PRODUCTION PLANT
MAINTAIN DIMENSIONAL RECORDS & DRAWINGS AS REQUIRED
MEET TIME STANDARDS & MONITOR WORK TICKETS & RELATED RECORDS
ABLE TO LIFT MINIMUM 50 POUNDS WITHOUT DIFFICULTY
ABIDE BY ALL SAFETY RULES & REGULATIONS & EMPLOYEE MANUAL
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum high school diploma or GED
Knowledge and experience operating a CNC machine
Proficient computer skills
Ability to accurately read tape measure & perform basic math functions
Ability to pass employment physical, drug and background checks
Ability to lift minimum 50 pounds without difficulty
Have knowledge and ability to use general hand tools
General manufacturing procedures knowledge and experience
Physically able to perform necessary duties, stand, sit, climb, squat
Reliable and punctual
Valid driver license with dependable transportation
