Mancan is working with a restaurant in Walnut Creek seeking a pie baker. Hours are 8 pm - 3 am. Days scheduled will vary based on the needs of the restaurant. Pay is $13 per hour. This is a temp to hire position for the right candidate based upon attitude, attendance, and performance.
This role involves ensuring the quality and consistency of baked goods, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and adhering to food safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Baking Preparation: Prepare pie fillings and crusts by measuring and mixing ingredients, following recipes, and ensuring the proper consistency and flavor.
- Pie Baking: Bake pies to perfection, monitoring oven temperatures and baking times to achieve the desired results.
- Sanitation and Safety: Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bakery area, adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Previous baking experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy items, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good verbal communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
