Charleston Mancan is assisting a local South Charleston housing facility seeking a Maintenance tech. Pay is based on skills - $14- $15/ hour. This is a full, time temp to perm position. Schedule is Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm with on call for emergencies every other week ( overtime). Once hired in excellent benefits and retirement programs. Off all State & Federal holidays. All tools are provided.
Job Description:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the day-to-day maintenance and repair of apartment units, common areas, and building systems in a residential community. Duties include responding to service requests, conducting preventative maintenance, performing repairs, and maintaining the overall cleanliness and safety of the property. The technician also assists with apartment turnovers, groundskeeping, and emergency maintenance needs. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to resident satisfaction and safety.
