Job Opening: 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician – Wooster, OH
Shift: Monday–Thursday, 1:30PM – 9:30PM
Mancan is partnering with a foundry in Wooster to fill a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician position. This is a hands-on maintenance role focused on machine upkeep and overall equipment condition. Ideal candidates will be mechanically inclined and comfortable working in an industrial environment with minimal supervision.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Perform preventative maintenance on production machinery.
o Add oil and grease bearings.
o Replace bearings and worn components as needed.
o Inspect and replace belts.
o Evaluate overall mechanical condition of machines.
• Clean around and under machines (equipment will not be in operation during maintenance).
• Use hand tools to perform maintenance and minor repairs.
• Work safely on raised platforms and in a foundry environment.
Requirements:
• Must have metal tarsal boots (uniforms are provided).
• Strong mechanical skills and experience using basic hand tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
• Comfortable working at heights or on raised platforms.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work with little supervision.
• Previous foundry or industrial maintenance experience is preferred.
• Reliable attendance is a must.
