Mancan Staffing is seeking a Dry Cleaning Press Operator located in St. Clairsville Ohio. Position is part time and between 20-30 Hrs/week. Pay is $14 an hour.
Job Summary:
The Dry Cleaning Press Operator is responsible for operating pressing machines to remove wrinkles and shape garments, linens, and other fabrics in a dry-cleaning facility. This role requires attention to detail, precision, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate steam, hot-head, and puff iron pressing machines to press and finish garments.
• Inspect clothing and fabrics for stains, damage, or improper cleaning.
• Adjust machine settings based on fabric type and garment specifications.
• Follow proper techniques to ensure garments retain their shape and quality.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
• Monitor equipment and report any maintenance or repair needs.
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist with other dry-cleaning tasks as needed, including sorting, folding, and packaging cleaned items.
Requirements:
• Previous experience in a dry-cleaning or laundry facility is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work in a hot and humid environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle delicate fabrics.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive motions.
• Good time management skills and ability to meet production deadlines.
