Monday-Friday
$16 an hour
Job Summary:
As a Quality Control Inspector at you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our wire harness products. You will be responsible for inspecting incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure they meet industry standards and customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect wire harnesses at various stages of production to ensure compliance with technical specifications.
Use precision measuring tools to verify dimensions and component placements.
Conduct visual inspections for defects such as damaged wires, poor insulation, or incorrect crimping.
Review production schematics and assembly instructions to ensure accurate implementation.
Document inspection results and maintain records for quality assurance purposes.
Identify and report non-conformities to the production team for corrective action.
Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality.
Collaborate with production staff to provide feedback and training on quality standards.
Ensure calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in quality inspection, preferably in wire harness manufacturing or a related field.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents and drawings.
Familiarity with quality standards and certification requirements relevant to the industry.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to communicate effectively with team members at all levels.
Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation.
Physical Requirements:
Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
