Mancan is working with a company in Killbuck looking for furniture assemblers and sanders. Pay is $16-$18 per hour based on experience. Hours are Monday-Friday, 6am-2:30pm with overtime as needed. This is a temp to hire opportunity!
Key Responsibilities:
* Assemble wooden furniture components using hand tools, power tools, fasteners, and adhesives.
* Inspect and test assembled products for quality and alignment to specifications.
* Sand wooden surfaces using hand sanders, power sanders, and sanding blocks.
* Ensure all components are properly prepped for staining, painting, or sealing.
* Collaborate with other team members in the production process to meet deadlines and quality standards.
Qualifications:
* Prior experience in furniture assembly and/or sanding is preferred.
* Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools accurately.
* Skilled in the safe use of hand and power tools.
* Strong attention to detail and quality.
* Good hand-eye coordination and physical stamina; able to lift and move heavy components.
