Mancan Staffing is partnering with a growing company in Newcomerstown, Ohio and is currently hiring Food Production Associates for 2nd shift! This is a great temp-to-hire opportunity for dependable individuals looking to get their foot in the door with a company that offers long-term potential.
💲 Pay: $15.00/hour to start
⬆️ $17.00/hour once hired in permanently
📍 Location: Newcomerstown, OH
🕒 Schedule: Monday – Friday
2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
📅 Occasional Saturdays required
Important Things to Know
⚡ This is a FAST-PACED production environment
⚡ At times you may be lifting 50 lb buckets for 2–4 hours at a time with one break
⚡ Some days you may be doing something completely different from the day before
⚡ We need employees who can adapt to different positions and tasks daily
⚠️ Training Requirement:
You MUST be able to train on day shift starting out:
8:45 AM – 5:30 PM for an extended period of time
Job Responsibilities
✔️ Sort food items on the production line and remove defective products
✔️ Operate air suction tools to fill buckets (light-duty tools but fast-paced work)
✔️ Perform sanitation and cleaning duties on production lines
✔️ Follow all safety, quality, and sanitation standards
✔️ Work in a clean, temperature-controlled environment (~60°F)
Qualifications
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when required
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Dependable and punctual with strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Willingness to work occasional Saturdays
