🔧 Sub-Arc Welder – Join a Skilled & Supportive Team in Vienna, OH! 🔥
Are you passionate about precision, craftsmanship, and working with your hands? We're looking for a dedicated Welder to be part of our dynamic manufacturing team. If you take pride in your welds and enjoy a clean, safe, and supportive environment, this role is for you! 💪
Shift time: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday
Pay rate: Based on experience, typically $20–$23/hr
🔩 What You'll Be Doing
Your main responsibilities will include (but aren’t limited to):
• 📘 Reading and understanding blueprints, BOMs, specs, and weld procedures
• 🔥 Performing high-quality welds that meet code and customer expectations
• 🛠️ Making RT & UT weld repairs with confidence
• 📈 Passing x-ray jobs with an 80% or better success rate
• 🤖 Setting up and operating weld machines
• 🧽 Examining workpieces for defects and smoothing out rough spots
• 🧾 Accurately maintaining records and production documentation
• 🧰 Operating a variety of hand and power tools (saws, grinders, drills, welders, cranes, etc.)
• 🧼 Keeping your work area clean and safe while promoting a zero-accident mindset

• Follow all safety procedures like a pro 🦺
• Support and follow quality procedures under our ISO-based system
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects 🛠️💡
🎓 What You Bring
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Internal welding certification (we'll help with that!)
• Experience with GMAW, FCAW, SMAW, GTAW, SAW (Submerged Arc Welding) processes – Sub-Arc Welding experience is a must!
• Familiarity with ASME code products is a big plus!
• Proficient in welding, plasma & oxyfuel cutting
• Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and random checks 🚫💊
• Must bring your own basic tools (we’ll provide the list)
🧍♂️ Physical Requirements
• Comfortable standing, bending, reaching, lifting (up to 60 lbs), and pushing/pulling (up to 100 lbs) 💪
• Ability to work in changing environments (heat, cold, humidity) 🌡️
• Good vision and coordination 👀
• Flexibility to work evenings or weekends when needed ⏰
