**Position: Grill Cook/Breakfast Cook**
**Job Summary:**
The Grill Cook/Breakfast Cook is responsible for preparing, cooking, and plating a variety of breakfast dishes. The role involves working quickly and efficiently to deliver high-quality meals, while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen and adhering to food safety standards.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Prepare and Cook Meals:** Grill, fry, and cook a range of breakfast items, including eggs, bacon, sausages, pancakes, French toast, hash browns, and more.
- **Grill Station Management:** Operate and maintain the grill, ensuring food is cooked to the correct temperature and to order.
- **Recipe & Menu Adherence:** Follow recipes and menu guidelines to ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
- **Ingredient Preparation:** Wash, chop, and prepare ingredients for dishes as needed.
- **Order Management:** Handle multiple orders efficiently, ensuring each dish is prepared on time and to customer specifications.
- **Kitchen Cleanliness:** Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen, including the grill area and prep stations, in compliance with food safety regulations.
- **Stock & Inventory:** Monitor and replenish supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure readiness for service.
- **Team Collaboration:** Work with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth operations, especially during busy periods.
- **Customer Interaction:** Engage with customers in open kitchen settings to ensure a positive dining experience.
**Qualifications:**
- **Experience:** Previous experience as a grill cook or breakfast cook preferred.
-**Must have Serv Safe certified and food handling
- **Knowledge:** Familiarity with breakfast foods and cooking techniques such as grilling, frying, and sautéing.
- **Skills:** Ability to multitask and perform efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- **Physical Stamina:** Capable of standing for extended periods, lifting heavy equipment, and performing repetitive tasks.
- **Food Safety:** Knowledge of food safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a clean kitchen.
- **Communication:** Strong communication skills to collaborate with the team effectively.
**Pay:**
Based on experience (BOE), $16-$18 per hour.
**Work Hours:**
Typically early morning hours (e.g., 4 AM – 1 PM), with potential for flexibility depending on the establishment’s needs.
