Job Responsibilities
• Operate different types of agricultural machinery, including tractors, detasselers, sprayers, and harvesters
• Ensure maintenance is performed routinely on equipment
• Custom application of pesticides and fertilizers
• Responsibilities may change depending on the season
Job Skills & Qualifications
Required:
• Open minded and willingness to learn new skills
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
• Capable of time management
• Flexibility to change
Preferred:
• Positive attitude when working with others and self-motivating when working alone
• Strong communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail
• Experience operating farm equipment and heavy-duty trucks, however, on-site training is offered
• High school diploma or GED
• Creative outside the box thinking
• Mechanically inclined
