Job Description:
As a Shop Hand, you will be an integral part of the day-to-day operations in our facility. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of tasks aimed at maintaining an efficient and organized workshop environment. Key duties include:
Tool Maintenance: Painting and ensuring the proper upkeep of tools.
Material Handling: Moving tools around the shop using forklift and/or overhead crane.
Inventory Control: Stamping tools with their serial numbers for tracking purposes.
Shop Maintenance: General cleaning duties in designated shop areas and bathrooms.
Safety Compliance: Adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean and hazard-free workspace.
Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
Experience in forklift and crane operations is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a tidy and organized workspace.
Ability to handle physically demanding tasks.
Eagerness to learn and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
Compensation:
Pay will be based on experience starting at least $18 an hour. There is a possibility for career advancement for individuals who demonstrate the desire and aptitude to take on additional responsibilities.
