Machine Technician

Do you like to set up and operates machine tools such as CNC lathes, spline rollers, grinders, and induction heat treat equipment. ? Like to work 2nd shiftt? An Apple Creek company is looking for a Machine Technician, this will be a full-time position for the right candidate based on attitude, performance and attendance.
Duties:
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints
• Coordinates with Engineering, in the development of processes/work instructions/flow charts
• Ability to set up all work cells
• Ability to train others to set up/operate work cells
• Troubleshoot machine breakdowns
• Assist with the execution of equipment Technical Services as required
• Assist with Preventative Maintenance as required
• Assist with process improvement on all equipment
• Acts as back up to shift supervisor as required
• Operates machines as required
• Gives First Part Approval (FPA) when applicable, performs periodic re-approval as required.
• Other duties as assigned
Pay: $18.50/PH.
Hours:
Monday-Friday 3pm -11pm
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma with vocational training; or three to five years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as work instructions, safety rules, and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate effectively one-on-one or in small group settings.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
