Do you have forklift experience? Mancan is working with a company in Berlin seeking forklift operators for third shift! The hours for this position are 11pm to 7am and the pay is $21 per hour.
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The Forklift Operator will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating forklift equipment to move, load, unload, and stack materials within the warehouse. The ideal candidate should possess a strong attention to safety protocols, excellent spatial awareness, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate Forklift Equipment: Safely operate forklifts to move materials, products, and equipment throughout the warehouse.
Loading and Unloading: Efficiently load and unload trucks, shipping containers, and storage racks while ensuring proper stacking and organization of goods to prevent damage.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols, including proper handling of hazardous materials, using personal protective equipment (PPE), and conducting routine equipment inspections.
Quality Control: Ensure that materials and products are handled and stored in a manner that preserves their quality and minimizes the risk of damage or spoilage.
Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work environment by properly storing materials, disposing of waste, and keeping aisles and work areas clear.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Proven experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse or similar environment.
- Proficient in safe forklift operation techniques and practices.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Good physical condition, able to lift and move heavy materials.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
