Barberton Mancan is assisting a Norton company searching for a Customer Service position. Pay is $18/hour Full time working in the office Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.
The customer service positions plays a vital role in the financial operations of the company, collaborating closely with the accountant.
This multifaceted position involves various office functions, including:
Accounts Payable and Receivable:
* Be a point of contact for vendor relationships and payments.
* Manage billing, collections, and customer service orders.
* Arrange transportation for shipments, including UPS, LTL, and international logistics.
Administrative Support:
* Act as a backup for various functions, including accounts payable and receivable.
* Work closely with the Shop Manager and Sales Manager.
* Utilize the Southware program for record-keeping.
* Complete month-end and year-end closes.
* Manage physical inventory.
Additional Requirements:
* Experience in manufacturing is advantageous.
* Efficiently navigate and operate in the Southware program.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
After six months of employment, employees are entitled to a one-week vacation, which increases to two weeks after one year, three weeks after five years, and four weeks after 15 years of service.
Additionally, 401K participation is available after one year of employment, with the company matching contributions up to 4%.
Medical insurance deductions from every paycheck are as follows: $20 for single coverage, $40 for coverage with a spouse, and $60 for family coverage.
Employees also receive company-paid life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment (ADD) coverage amounting to $20,000 while employed.
There are eight paid holidays per year, and the bi-weekly paycheck is processed through direct deposit.
