**Industrial Cleaner – 1st Shift | Wooster, OH**
**Job Type:** Temp-to-Hire
**Pay Rate:** $16/hour
**Shift Hours:** Monday - Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM (40 hours/week with potential overtime)
**Are you someone who likes to stay busy and prefers working on 1st shift? A company in Wooster is seeking a dedicated Industrial Cleaner to join their team! This temp-to-hire position offers a great opportunity for long-term employment for the right candidate.**
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Cleaning under machines, including pits
- Moving metal scraps and oil into drains
- Picking up metal and aluminum pieces to place onto conveyors
- Utilizing tools such as rakes, shovels, and squeegees
- Working in an environment with oil and water, performing physically demanding tasks
- Lifting up to 60 lbs regularly
- Performing other duties as assigned
**Requirements:**
- Must be physically capable of lifting up to 60 lbs
- Able to work in a hot environment
- Must be able to bend, stand, and kneel throughout the shift
- Ability to work both independently and in a group setting
- Must be prepared for a physically demanding role with a lot of walking
**Additional Requirements:**
- Must pass a drug test and local background check
