Massillon Mancan is assisting a Navarre pallet and recycling company in their search for a saw operator. The Saw Operator will be responsible for accurately cutting materials according to specified measurements and ensuring high standards of safety and precision in every task.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate various saws to cut materials to specified dimensions.
• Accurately measure and mark materials using a tape measurer.
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, or schematics.
• Inspect materials before and after cutting for quality and accuracy.
• Perform routine maintenance on saw equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines.
Requirements:
• Must be able to read and use a tape measurer accurately.
• Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions.
• Ability to lift and handle materials up to [insert weight if applicable].
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or construction environment preferred but not required.
• Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work in a physically demanding environment.
