Mancan is working with a company in Dundee looking for workers for their upholstery department! This is a temp to hire opportunity. Hours are Monday-Friday, 6am-3:30pm with overtime as needed. Pay is $17 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
* Measure and cut fabric, leather, vinyl, and foam materials according to patterns.
* Apply padding and cover furniture frames using hand tools, power tools, and staple guns.
* Install webbing, springs, cushioning, and upholstery coverings with a high standard of craftsmanship.
* Read and interpret upholstery work orders and design specifications.
* Inspect materials and finished products for quality and consistency.
Qualifications:
* Previous experience in furniture upholstery is required.
* Ability to measure and cut materials accurately.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Ability to lift, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
* Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
