Kitchen Crew Member

Mancan is working with a restaurant in Walnut Creek looking for an evening kitchen crew member and buffet attendant. Hours and days will vary. Pay is $13 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in basic food preparation, cooking, and portioning according to kitchen standards.
* Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
* Support cooks and chefs as needed during meal prep and peak service hours.
* Set up, replenish, and maintain buffet stations throughout service periods.
* Monitor food levels and presentation, ensuring cleanliness and timely restocking.
* Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, answering questions when necessary.
* Maintain buffet cleanliness, including wiping surfaces, replacing serving utensils, and removing used dishes.
* Follow health and safety standards to ensure food quality and guest safety.
Qualifications:
* Basic knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene practices.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
* Flexible schedule, including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
