We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Park Manager to support the daily operations of our seasonal facility. This individual will work closely with the Park Manager to ensure a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for all visitors. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can supervise staff, deliver exceptional customer service, and manage operational tasks with professionalism and energy.

Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Staff Supervision:
• Assist in leading and motivating seasonal staff
• Ensure team adherence to park policies, safety protocols, and customer service standards.
• Promote a positive, team-oriented workplace culture.
Customer Service:
• Greet and assist park guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Handle guest concerns, complaints, and emergencies with empathy and efficiency.
• Ensure a positive guest experience for individuals, families, and group rentals.
Operations & Administration:
• Monitor financials including sales, expenses, and cash control procedures.
• Assist with staff scheduling and shift oversight.
• Manage inventory, vendor relations, and supply ordering as needed.
• Support concession operations and enforce food safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with community groups for facility rentals and special events.
Health & Safety Compliance:
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the park and facility grounds.
• Enforce and respond to all safety and emergency procedures.
• Oversee the proper storage and safe handling of pool chemicals.
• Record and monitor daily logs including visitor counts, pool chemical levels, and maintenance checklists.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED required; additional education in recreation, management, or a related field is a plus.
• Prior experience in recreation, hospitality, or facility management preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to excellent customer service.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
