Industrial Maintenance Technician
A facility in Dover is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join their team. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to support production operations and ensure equipment runs efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and monitor the press and extruder during production runs.
• Oversee the entire dosing system to maintain accurate and consistent output.
• Prepare catalyst materials and manage a steady supply to production tanks.
• Provide hands-on support for equipment and process changeovers to minimize downtime and ensure smooth transitions.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong background in production floor maintenance.
• Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems commonly used in industrial settings.
• Working knowledge of PLCs and pneumatic systems.
• Proven experience with equipment operation, preventative maintenance, and installation.
• Versatility to step into any role on the production line when needed, particularly in semi-complex processes managed by smaller teams.
• Strong commitment to safety and accident prevention; OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experienced with ERP systems used in daily operations.
Schedule:
• 12-hour shifts, 4 days per week
• One shift is permanently day shift: 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• One shift is permanently night shift: 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM
