Plumber Assistant

Mancan Staffing has teamed up with a prestigious construction company in Cambridge. We are searching for a reliable and motivated Assistant Plumber to support experienced plumbers with residential and commercial plumbing projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, has a strong work ethic, and is eager to learn the plumbing trade from seasoned professionals.
The shift hours are 7am- until finished. The rate of pay is based upon experience and it ranges from $20-$25 per hour.
Responsibilities:
* Assist licensed plumbers with the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems and fixtures
* Prepare and clean job sites before and after work is completed
* Handle tools and materials, ensuring they are organized and ready for use
* Cut, measure, and assemble pipes under supervision
* Operate basic hand and power tools safely
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment
* Follow all company safety protocols and procedures
* Perform other general labor duties as assigned
Requirements:
* Previous construction or plumbing experience is a plus but not required
* Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced tradespeople
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods
* Must be dependable, punctual, and hardworking
* Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
* High school diploma or GED preferred
