The Manufacturing Support Specialist plays a key role in ensuring efficient and uninterrupted operations throughout the facility. This versatile team member will provide hands-on support across departments, stepping into various roles such as machine operation, shipping and receiving, and general warehouse maintenance. The ideal candidate is reliable, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Essential Functions:
Provide cross-functional support by covering for absent team members in various departments.
Safely and efficiently operate manufacturing equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures.
Assist with shipping and receiving processes, including loading/unloading shipments, verifying inventory, and organizing materials.
Assist with inventory control and material handling to support overall production flow.
Skilled in operating drill presses, planers, table saws, and sanders with hands-on wood shop experience. Proficient in reading tape measures, blueprints, and CAD drawings.
Qualifications Required:
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· Prior experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred.
· Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
· Strong work ethic and willingness to learn multiple roles.
· Good communication and teamwork skills.
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
· Flexibility to work different shifts or overtime as needed.
