Mancan is excited to partner with a Newcomerstown Ohio company looking for a Detail-oriented and methodical Quality Inspector.
Must have a proven track record of ensuring product compliance with industry standards and customer specifications. Skilled in performing thorough inspections, identifying defects, and recommending corrective actions to improve manufacturing processes. Adept at using precision measuring tools and interpreting technical drawings and specifications. Committed to maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and continuous improvement in fast-paced production environments.
Essential Functions:
Perform visual, dimensional, and mechanical inspections using calibrated measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, height gauges).
Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to validate product conformity.
Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed quality records.
Identify and report non-conforming materials or components; collaborate with production and engineering teams on corrective actions.
Conduct in-process and final inspections to ensure quality is maintained throughout production.
Support root cause analysis and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, ISO requirements, and internal quality procedures.
Qualifications Required:
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· Prior experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred.
· Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
· Strong work ethic and willingness to learn multiple roles.
· Good communication and teamwork skills.
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
