WRAPPING MACHINE OPERATOR
Must be able to work in a very fast paced environment with excellent hand and eye coordination skills. Must possess strong communication skills to provide continuous support to packaging work flow using established Safe Quality Food Processes (SQF).
Requirements:
These are repetitive actions preformed daily.
• High school education or equivalent.
• Employee must be able to stand and/or walk for 8 to 10 hours (approximately) with two 10-minute breaks and one 30-minute meal break.
• Employee must be physically fit able to maneuver up to 60 lbs.
• Basis math Skills
• Be able to read and follow instructions
• Safety oriented
• Team Oriented
• Employee must be able to lift the finished product (approximately 23 pounds) from above waist level and move five feet, approximately 80 times per shift. (changing rolls and flipping one roll (re-wind)
• Employee must be able to maneuver a 50-pound box for the distance of 10 feet approximately 40 times per shift. (pushing box to the pallet)
• Employee must be able to use Twisting Motion with hands/ wrist to change rolls of tape
• Employee must be able to stoop down
• Employee must be able to twist upper torso
• Assist in other areas as required.
• Follow established GMP’s
Cleaning:
• Maintain required daily equipment cleaning schedule
• Maintain required operator logs as established for Production records (SQF)
• Follow All Protocol put in places in accordance to production requirement of our SFQ-FOOD Quality Processes
Must be able to pass a background and drug test.
