Bakery Assistant

Mancan is working with a bakery in the Millersburg area looking for a bakery assistant. Hours are 4am-1pm. Pay starts at $15 per hour, negotiable based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Fry doughnuts to golden perfection using commercial fryers, ensuring consistent quality and appearance
* Decorate cookies and cakes with icing, sprinkles, and other toppings, following standard designs or custom orders
* Bake bread and pies according to recipes and production schedules
* Prepare ingredients and maintain a clean and organized workstation
* Assist with measuring, mixing, and preparing doughs and batters
* Package finished baked goods for sale
* Clean equipment and maintain food safety and sanitation standards
* Support other bakery staff as needed with general duties
Qualifications:
* Previous experience in a bakery or commercial kitchen preferred but not required
* Ability to follow recipes and instructions precisely
* Strong work ethic and time management skills
* Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
* Able to lift up to 30-50 lbs and stand for long periods
