Location: Caldwell, OH
Pay: $23–$25/hour, based on experience (BOE)
Shift: Rotating 12-hour schedule, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 24/7 operation
Job Summary:
As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of plant machinery and equipment. This position involves a variety of semi-skilled maintenance tasks designed to support daily operations and prevent downtime. You’ll work under close supervision, but with the opportunity to build your knowledge, gain troubleshooting skills, and grow within the role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform preventative maintenance and routine repairs on a variety of machinery and mechanical systems
* Safely and effectively use hand tools and equipment
* Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and minor electrical issues
* Assist with equipment installations, adjustments, and improvements
* Learn and follow all safety procedures and maintenance protocols
* Support general facility maintenance tasks as needed
* Show initiative in developing additional maintenance skills and technical knowledge
Qualifications:
* Previous experience in machine or industrial maintenance preferred
* Basic understanding of mechanical tools and safety practices
* Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn
* Reliable and able to work a rotating 12-hour shift, including weekends and holidays as needed
* Physically capable of lifting, bending, standing for long periods, and working in a fast-paced environment
* Strong work ethic and attention to detail
