Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay Rate:Starting at $17.00/hour (Higher pay available based on experience)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep and safe operation of industrial equipment at our Wickliffe facility. The ideal candidate will have experience maintaining equipment such as forklifts, automatic doors, overhead cranes, and various machinery in a manufacturing environment.
This role plays a key part in ensuring production efficiency, safety, and equipment longevity through routine maintenance, timely repairs, and adherence to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform routine preventative maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery and equipment
* Monitor and track usage of tools, supplies, and replacement parts
* Quickly identify and report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors
* Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment
* Follow “Lock Out/Tag Out” and other safety procedures at all times
* Support and comply with ISO 9001:2008 standards and documentation requirements
* Complete assignments and work orders as directed by supervisor
* Demonstrate understanding of how maintenance impacts product quality, delivery, and cost
* Conduct tasks in accordance with Job Safety Analysis (JSA) procedures
* Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
* Work independently and manage time efficiently with minimal supervision
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or GED required
* Must pass pre-employment drug screening
* Prior experience in industrial maintenance preferred
* Knowledge of basic mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems a plus
* Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and workplace safety procedures
Physical Requirements:
* Able to sit up to 1 hour, stand up to 4 hours, and walk up to 3 hours per shift
* Frequently lift/carry up to 20 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs
* Must be able to bend, kneel, climb ladders, reach overhead, handle and grasp tools, and work in confined spaces
* Not required to lift over 100 lbs
Work Environment:
* Industrial production environment
* Exposure to:
* Loud noise levels (up to 90 dB — hearing protection required)
* Operating machinery and overhead cranes
* Dust, dirt, coolant mist, and industrial chemicals (PPE provided)
