**Shift:** Dayshift, Monday to Thursday: 6:00 am - 4:30 pm, Friday: 6:00 am - 12:00 pm
**Pay:** (Based on experience 18-20$)
**Summary:**
Boardman Company is seeking a skilled Injection Molding Process Technician to join our dynamic team. This individual will play a crucial role in the production of molded Thermoplastic materials, serving various industries such as Fluid Power, Pharma, Dairy, life sciences, Aerospace, Transportation, and Industrial markets. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for independently setting up and operating injection molding machines, ensuring adherence to production schedules, and prioritizing safety and quality.
**Duties and Responsibilities:**
1. **Production Schedule Management:**
- Fulfill production schedules by setting up and operating injection molding machines.
- Perform mold and/or material changes as required by the schedule.
2. **Process Troubleshooting and Quality Assurance:**
- Conduct process troubleshooting to address issues promptly.
- Perform part inspections to ensure conformity and uphold high-quality standards.
- Complete in-process inspections and verify paperwork for jobs.
3. **Support Equipment Monitoring and Preparation:**
- Monitor and prepare support equipment, including circulators, grinders, etc., as needed in the production area.
4. **Break Coverage and Team Support:**
- Assist in break coverage to ensure continuous production flow.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve overall production objectives.
**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience as an Injection Molding Process Technician.
- Familiarity with molded Thermoplastic materials.
- Ability to independently set up and operate injection molding machines.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for addressing process issues.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and a commitment to a safe working environment.
