Mancan Staffing, in partnership with a predominant company in Cambridge, is seeking an IT & Data Dashboard Developer to join their team.
The IT & Data Dashboard Developer will support the digital infrastructure and dashboard development for steel bridge fabrication and assembly projects. This role focuses on designing, maintaining, and managing dashboards and data integrations across multiple departments to enhance operational efficiency, visibility, and collaboration. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineering, fabrication, procurement, and project management teams to implement systems that provide real-time data access and actionable insights.
Hours & Pay
Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m
Pay Rate: $19.50 per hour to start, with potential for increases based on performance and experience.
Job Responsibilities:
Dashboard Development & Data Integration
* Design, build, and maintain dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools to display both real-time and historical data across fabrication, inventory, and project operations.
* Integrate dashboards with various data sources, including ERP systems, spreadsheets, production logs, and inventory databases.
* Ensure dashboards are user-friendly, accurate, visually consistent, and updated regularly.
* Automate data updates and maintain standardized visual formats.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements for dashboard functionality and layout.
* Document workflows, dashboard structures, and integration processes.
* Provide training and basic support for staff on dashboard usage and data tools.
IT Support & System Management
* Support and maintain IT systems related to fabrication, including ERP software, inventory tracking, and document control systems.
* Serve as the liaison between fabrication teams and external IT providers or software vendors.
* Ensure data security, perform system backups, and maintain compliance with internal IT policies.
* Assist in integrating new software tools and technologies into the fabrication workflow.
Basic Qualifications:
* Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
* Proven experience with dashboard tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent.
* Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing/fabrication environments.
* Proficiency in Excel and understanding of database connections (SQL, APIs, flat files).
* Strong troubleshooting skills and effective communication abilities.
* Highly detail-oriented with a practical, solution-driven mindset in a fast-paced environment.
