PEM Setter – 2nd Shift Alliance (Hardware insertion)
A growing manufacturing company is seeking a skilled PEM Setter to join their 2nd shift team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting, operating, and monitoring PEM insertion equipment to install self-clinching fasteners and related hardware into sheet metal and other components according to blueprints and specifications.
Responsibilities:
• Set up and operate PEM insertion machines and related equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and quality requirements.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure correct hardware placement and proper fit.
• Make necessary machine adjustments to maintain quality and productivity.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
Requirements:
• Previous PEM setting or hardware insertion experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and use basic measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Willingness to work 2nd shift and occasional overtime.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and stand for extended periods.
