Quality Inspector – Fabrication 1st shift
A well-established fabricating company is seeking a Quality Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a sharp eye for detail and a passion for ensuring that every product meets our high-quality standards.
Responsibilities:
• Perform inspections on fabricated parts and assemblies to verify conformance to blueprints, specifications, and quality standards.
• Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other inspection equipment.
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate records.
• Identify defects or deviations and communicate findings to production for corrective action.
• Work closely with production and engineering to resolve quality issues.
• Ensure compliance with company, customer, and industry standards.
Requirements:
• Previous experience in quality inspection, preferably in a fabrication or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of fabrication processes and tolerances.
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
